I want to start by saying your on to something great.

Jeremiah, how will your project be sustainable?

jeremiah hinmikaye Jul 13, 2020

It will be sustainable through innovation and collaboration with other organizations. The post covid19 economy will require creation of Jobs and the digital economy is the best means to connect job seekers to employers digitally

James Kiruri Jul 14, 2020

This is a brilliant idea especially at this time as there have been devastating effects on jobs due to Covi19 pandemic

jeremiah hinmikaye Jul 17, 2020

Marabe Ditshego Jul 15, 2020

Hi Jeremiah,
I trust you are well.

Let me congratulate you on your idea. Upskilling the Africa youth and connecting them to job opportunities is definitely something I hold close to my heart and admire you for taking it on.

I wish to share a few considerations.
1. Consider amending your idea description to clearly depict that the training your platform will provide is specifically tailored to programming, digital marketing and data science
2. Since you’ve already developed a prototype, how about you consider changing your objectives into SMART objectives to reflect where you would like to take your prototype going forward i.e. place the top 5-percent of our trained and up-skilled alumni members into 50,000 jobs in the next five years. Visit https://thedigitalprojectmanager.com/project-objectives/ for a detailed explanation
3. It may be beneficial to list the stakeholders involved in your minimum viable solution and detailing the role each will play. Also, letting us know how you plan to make money – business model – would be great.

jeremiah hinmikaye Jul 17, 2020

Thanks for your advice and contribution. Business model is stated above, such as training fee, resources and digital tools

Marabe Ditshego Jul 17, 2020

You welcome Jeremiah. Forgive me if I missed any points that you may have mentioned explicitly. All the best going forward.

Hi Jeremiah,
You are doing well, consider integrating artisans search where I can easily found artisans within specific location. That will also help during crises like COVID-19.

Achia Khaleda Jul 24, 2020

Thanks for your contributory comment as we strive to achieve the job by connecting students to remote working opportunities after they finish their training on the platform

Issoufou Seidou Sanda Jul 28, 2020

The idea is very good. A emerging technology that is very useful for combatting fraud is blockchain. It you couls use it to guarantee the authenticity of degrees or training certificate, it would bring a plus to the project.

jeremiah hinmikaye Aug 8, 2020

Thanks for advice, i really appreciate it and we have partnered with foreign universities for give certificates to students after completion of their degree or certificate program.

Calister Simba Aug 11, 2020

Amazing project Jeremiah, hope we will collaborate together soon because I'm also doing mentoring sessions in technology and digital security skills for secondary and college students especially female. It has a chance to go further just ensure the sustainability of the project as well as clarifications on your objectives.

Any project with digital security is a project that i like so keep pushing and you have my vote.

Hi Jeremiah, this is a brilliant idea. Technology hubs are drivers of innovation, social change, and economic opportunity in a country and beyond. Africa’s technology hubs is of crucial importance for those living within the continent, as the trend represents an opportunity for homegrown entrepreneurship devising local solutions to socio-economic problems and propelling Africa’s innovation revolution. Africa’s technology hubs are also important for the world outside of the continent, as they are a locus for partnership opportunities. All the best, keep what you do best
