Emergency Telecommunications Infrastructure.

We propose a solution of an Emergency Telecommunications Infrastructure for First Responders to use in case of a disaster or emergency.

The solution we propose here is one which uses a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) to carry and hover above ground with Payload (Customer Premises Equipment TV White Space Device and an Access Point Device) which will offer blanket network coverage to the area where the incident occurred.

The customer premises equipment will be connected wirelessly to a TV white space base station that will be situated remotely at a place where there is presence of fibre, LTE, or Satellite connection. The Access Point device will offer broadband connection to the relevant authorities and people at the scene.

Name the country/territory where you are a resident of.

This solution is important for decision-making: in agriculture, for example, it helps farmers to identify when animals are approaching the crops, it supports them in identifying and approaching pests, fires, etc., I am happy to know that in Africa young people are motivated to create solutions to solve problems. Congratulations for the initiative and knowledge!
