Bio Mohamed Ali Abdoulkader, 22 years old, Master 2, student in electrical and energy engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University Of Djibouti, and a young social entrepreneur who is incubated at the Center of Technology and Innovation for Development (CTID), which is the first incubator in Djibouti. Mohamed has indeed followed several training courses within the framework of the university but also outside it. Such as training at the Istanbul Technical University and other types of training at the national level, including the EDC (Education Development Center) entrepreneurship program which is led by USAID. He is also the winner of TechCamp 2018, the winner of the first edition of the Hackathon on social Innovation, and participated in the Face to Gorillas competition at the Transform Africa 2019 Summit held in Kigali, Rwanda. As Energy efficiency entrepreneur and founder of DjibEnergy Services, he set-up his start-up that works on energy savings in buildings, through the use of new technologies such as the Internet of Things. This project was one of the best projects in the FIJEV regional Indian Ocean 2019 green job creation competition organized by the International Organization for La Francophonie. Also passionated in new technologies and energy in all its form, he launched the creation of this start-up which contributes in finding social solutions related to energy and reducing energy poverty in the region. He is still working on the development of this young company, which he believes could help people to reduce their energy bills by effectively managing energy consumption in their home. He is also very active in what he undertakes, he has developed many projects throughout his curriculum, which have forged his experience in the world of engineering.
