Pharmafast

Let me first of all comments on the process which I saw it too cumbersome and many people might not be patient enough to fill all the information before commenting. From the first day I saw this idea on the social media I send a message to the team behind this project asking why it is only limited to Cameroon because it is not different in my own country. The problem is real and at most time very challenging and this solution will really help to bridge this gap. My advice is for Pharmafast to bring pharmacies on their platform so that users should know which of them carries their desire medications. The information you have right now is not bad such as list of pharmacies and estimated price of drugs but it would be more beneficial to have the data of these pharmacies, stock of medications, working and closing hours etc. Congratulation for this wonderful initiative.

I am so grateful this idea is getting attention. Is this idea worth celebrating? As a medical practitioner I will say a big yes. The organisation still has lot of work to do on the platform. I use the web app nearly everyday to help my patients.
1. Try to obtain drug list from other pharmaceutical companies or the ministry of public health. The government usually update this information annually.
2. I have realized that some prices on the site doesn't matched with what some pharmacies are offering. What is your solution to this?
3. You also talk of door to door delivery which is a good idea. What are the measures you have put in place to make sure that prescription send are not fake?
I propose your team should get in touch with pharmacist or their trade union association and educate them on the usefulness and their benefits being online. You should also look for the best payment gateway integration. Keep it up with such innovation. Good luck

I was enthralled by the concept since I had experienced similar issues that nearly cost me my life owing to delays in purchasing drugs in Cameroon, and I was certain that this idea would help to solve this problem. My suggestion to the company behind this is to raise awareness about the platform's presence in areas like hospitals, as well as to distribute fliers in pharmacies, hospitals, and other important locations. It's important to remember that getting started is always challenging, but with the appropriate marketing and earning your target's trust, you may be on your road to success. I think that Pharma Fast is a brilliant initiative. I would suggest the founders think about partnerships with pharmacies. Depending on terms of partnership, people can get to buy what they need at a price a little cheaper than what pharmacies will offer if they have to come and buy at the counter. By implication, pharmacies get to benefit by selling more and people get to benefit by buying cheaper and you get to benefit by getting more and more people using the Pharma Fast App with the possibility of introducing registration for App users in the future to maintain operational costs.

Also consider proposing a delivery partnership with pharmacies. For those who want the drugs, delivered at their doorsteps, Pharma Fast can step in to offer that service at a relatively cheap price.

I remember when MoMo came many people were afraid of it and didn't accept it. Today a good number is using MoMo eventhough many without tech savvy are still afraid of using it & other fintech apps.
Know that payment apps like stripe & paypal are restricted in Africa. I have seen an API for MoMo but poor digital literacy and high subscription is what is retarding online payment with this and great usage. My recommendation:
* work on the payment app
* work on the delivery channel
* Be thinking to launch an ios version of pharmafast
* continue with sensitization & marketing
In conclusion I believe pharmafast is a most excellent business for the 21st century which needs persistence for the customer segment challenges to go off for the business to shine.

this idea is one that will reshape the pharmaceutical industry, bring consumers closer to pharmacies and provide improved services and users on the other side being fully satisfied. it is indeed a huge global health problem solving idea.

As a someone who buys drugs frequently, I will say a big thank you to this company. Last year, I sent my kid sister to get medications for my little boy and she could not for the simple reason that we did not know how much the drugs would cost and she had to come back home without the drugs. My husband travelled out of town and I had no money to add to the budget to get these drugs. It took us two days to raise the money. If this project was available, it would have served us from this embarrassment. Keep working hard because this will serve the lives of so many people in the continent.

Pharmafast is a hybrid app very cost effective and accurate working in partnership with registered certified pharmacies globally to bridge the gap that exist between patients and availability of certified drugs stores closer to each other. Most at times patients suffer a lot in searching of a particular drug , spending time and money to no avail of which they could just download pharmafast app and with a click they can locate the nearby pharmacies having these drugs .

The world is now turning to a global village and pharmafast is the easiest way to request a drug and pay with mobile money and dilivery will be done to you based on your location.
Let's think global and act local .
