No Code Academy

The proposed project aims to address major problems faced by young single mothers– acute poverty, unemployment and migration, lack of technical know-how and source of income, and non- availability to access tech training skills.

Through a three-month training, young single mothers are taught skills in software development that does not require advanced tech knowledge. The No-Code Academy students will be capable of developing and deploying mobile app solutions to mitigate COVID-19, such as keeping social distancing by creating appointments or scheduling different services, especially for small and medium businesses (SMB).

These applications will empower individuals and SMB to monitor and improve, for example, administrative tasks, fostering Open Educational Resources (OERs) to support learners and educational professionals in online learning, which facilitates easy customized access to information, all while maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
