Muchinga General Enterprises Limited (MGE) is a social enterprise and has partnered with local digital companies like Kazang Zambia Limited and Atlasmara Bank with the Tenga payment platform which is powered by Atlasmara Bank for MGE to register more that 12000 smallholder farmers with mobile phones in Mafinga and Serenje Districts within four months so that these farmers, teachers and other workers in these Districts could become Covid 19 resilient by being able to receive their payments on their mobile phones and be able to make banking services and encourage income saving to the farmers and by so doing will restrict Covid 19 transmission by cash transactions.
